About Me

 

I love food and I have an insatiable sweet tooth. I seriously don't understand anyone that just haphazardly waves away any hint of the dessert menu... I mean, that is just crazy talk. 

 

I graduated at the top of my class from Pastry Arts from The French Culinary Institute and was awarded The Andre Soltner Award of Excellence. I have worked along side some of the best names in the biz, (Le Cirque and famed cake artist, Colette Peters) before branching out on my own and developing and desiging my own style of cakes (fondant free) while building my own customer client list (which include's some celebs, cuz I rock it out with some yummy and eye catching cakes) I've had several cakes grace the pages of "Brides" & "New York" magazines. 

 

I have made trips across the globe and I have ate my way through Austria, Aruba, Bermuda, Canada, France, Iceland, Japan, Mexico, Puerto Rico, South Africa, St. Thomas, Switzerland, Turks and Caicos and almost all of the glorious US of A. Along the way I love to take pictures of what I am eating and describe it in the least amount of words as possible, cuz too many words are hard.... My head hurts.

My true love is sugar and I'm very well known for ordering everything on the dessert menu. I've found it to be a great way to get to know the pastry chef through their work and meet everyone that is seated anywhere near me! 

 

So here on my blog, (because the world sure needed another one) you'll read about what I am eating and whipping up in my own kitchen and we will all have good laugh, at my expense and I'm fine with it.
